My favorite weddings aren’t those with a million and one details. It’s not the material things that make me feel giddy inside and inspires me to capture my very favorite images. Yes, I love garden flower bouquets, lace cap sleeves, bistro lights and always natural light but what truly fills my heart are weddings full of constant emotional displays of love. Michelle + David’s wedding was exactly that. Contagious laughter, happy tears and warm hugs.
Their first look is one that I’ll never forget. Eyes full of tears, pure and giddy excitement followed by a can’t-let-you-go hug. Michelle twirled in her dress as David admired her with his kind eyes and big smile. It was one of the most beautiful displays of love I have ever witnessed and it didn’t stop there. It continued all day; when they held hands during their ceremony, exchanged eyes-closed-tight hugs with their parents, expressed so much love for their rabbi, gave all of their vendors enormous hugs and genuine words of gratitude. But in the end, we were the lucky ones to be present with this beautiful couple with their love shining so bright. We were the lucky ones.
An enormous thank you to my second photographer + dear friend, Victoria Gloria.
