Whimsical Martha’s Vineyard Wedding

The sky was as clear as glass and the ocean waves crashed just steps away from the camp on Martha’s Vineyard where the bride and her dearest got ready for Julia + Logan’s wedding day.  As soon as I arrived, it brought me back to the day Logan proposed to Julia at the same location nearly one year prior.

Julia is a dear friend and a photographer so I was incredibly honored when she and Logan asked me to capture their wedding day.  I knew the day would be extraordinarily beautiful but Julia’s vision was beyond anything I could have imagined.  As beautiful as it was, my favorite parts of the day were those that left me speechless with tears running down my face.  When Julia’s dad saw her for the first time in her wedding dress.  Tears.  When Logan saw Julia for the first time as she walked towards him during their unconventional first look.  More tears.  Their personal vows grabbed at hearts leaving many in tears, especially me.  You can call it hormones if you’d like, but truly the day was just that memorable and sweet leaving me a blubbery mess!

Logan and Julia – your love is one of a kind and it was truly an honor to be there as your friend and photographer.  So much love and more.
