I was fortunate to travel to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for my first wedding of 2014. When Mike and I exited the plane, we soaked in the humidity, leaned our heads to the sun and took a deep breath, smiles wide. Goodness, how we missed the warm sun!
When we arrived to Sanctuary Cap Cana, we were blown away by the character – the stone walls, stained glass windows. We felt like we were staying in a Spanish town sprinkled with sunlight and surrounded by gardens. I could not have pictured a more serene setting for a destination wedding.
However, it wasn’t just the location that made this such a beautiful wedding, it was Michelle & Andrew and their incredible effort to ensure all of their guests were having a wonderful stay at the charming Sanctuary Cap Cana. Michelle & Andrew were full of smiles and excitement as their guests began to arrive. They were so selfless – all they desired was for their guests to have a vacation and of course, to throw them a really great party. And then – I photographed just the two of them. Alone and afar from the 90 close family and friends who traveled from all over the world to celebrate their marriage. That was when they truly shined as a couple – in each other’s arms, I witnessed something truly special. These two. Always and forever.
The videographer’s flying drone & camera were incredibly impressive!!
