Mike and I are fairly certain that this photoshoot of the baby’s room kickstarted my labor. You might wonder, how? Well, getting low + high to shoot when you’re 39 weeks pregnant isn’t easy! 🙂
Julian’s nursery has been quite the labor of love and kept me occupied during the weeks leading up to Julian’s arrival during my off season. I knew I didn’t want a “theme” but I wanted a space that was bright, happy and promoted creativity. I envisioned a playful room that Julian could grow into. I am so grateful for Jessica (and also my bride!) of Jessica Allyn who helped me design the room and found some of my favorite accent pieces.
Julian isn’t sleeping in his crib just yet but I can’t wait for him to wake up in this space. I can already picture him crawling on the rug and playing with board books on the floor, Luna laying by his side. The moments will be flowing and I’ll be there with my camera to capture whatever I can.
