When I first spoke with Alex on the phone months ago about her wedding, we instantly connected. We found so many similarities between what she had planned for her and Evan’s wedding day and what I had at my wedding (statement necklaces, succulents, mercury glass and so much more). I knew I would be excited for their wedding day but I could not have anticipated all the beauty that was in store for me.
Their mint green beach wedding was soft and elegant with so many beautiful touches. The bridesmaids wore mint green long chiffon dresses that perfectly swayed in the wind. The tables were scattered with different shapes and sizes of mercury glass candle holders and vases full of dahlias and succulents. The venue, Oceanblue, provided a perfect baby blue striped backdrop that really gave the room a beachy feel. The name cards were set in sand boxes and each guest received a mint green beer koozie with Alex + Evan’s monogram and “BEST DAY EVER”, showing their fun loving spirit. Alex + Evan ended the night in their matching chucks, truly showing their fun personality. And Alex’s dress. There’s not much else to say except that it was beyond perfect.
Yes, Alex + Evan’s wedding day was beautiful but what touched me the most was their absolute kindness and love for one another. I’m still in awe of this wedding and how the sun came out just in time for the sunset. It was truly one of a kind.
