My love for photography began in NYC while working as an auditor for a prestigious accounting firm. I was dreading the busy season and gloomy winter ahead and I yearned to find a way to add color into my life. I purchased a camera and it quickly became my new obsession. Teaching myself how to shoot in manual while photographing people in the streets of New York at all hours of the day became the drive I needed to get me through the workweek. In the meantime, I found internal happiness, self-acceptance and ultimately, myself.

It was a seamless transition from street photography to weddings. I always loved photographing people in motion amidst gorgeous natural light. After I photographed my first wedding, I had never felt so fulfilled artistically and professionally. My heart yearned to photograph people amidst the happiest day of their lives surrounded by those closest to them. The moments, big and small, full of love and truth became my biggest desire of all. It didn’t take me long to quit my job and pursue wedding photography full time.

After photographing more than 50 weddings, my passion for wedding photography has only strengthened. My attention to detail and light is the root of my photography driven by moments that surround me.  It’s all aspects of love on a wedding day that inspires me. The gentle kiss shared between the couple, holding hands during the speeches, happy tears shed by a parent of the couple. It’s all kinds of emotion before my eyes that excites me as I snap away behind my camera.

Most importantly, it’s my clients. My couples are the ones that leave me speechless after a wedding and so dearly fulfilled. They are the ones that allow me to continue to love this hobby turned into a full time “job.” Thanks to them, this will never feel like a job nor do I ever feel like a vendor. As a result, it’s incredibly important to me that I connect with my clients. They are the reason why I put every ounce of myself into their wedding day. They are the reason I leave a wedding feeling the aches and pains of my effort masked in love for them.

To know more about me is to know my other half and my husband, Mike. I am sincerely grateful for a husband who not only supports me but is also undoubtedly my best friend. We rescued a pup, Luna Lu, who we also nicknamed Looney for her energetic demeanor and we love her oh so dearly. We love to try red wines from all over the world and travel to those regions whenever possible. Travel and adventure excites us, however big or small they may be. We live in a historic home in Connecticut surrounded by farms that we love to visit, especially for their adorable farm animals. Last but certainly not least, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Julian Michael on April 14, 2016. He is the sweetest and giggliest baby and we love him with all our might. He is my greatest source of inspiration…and cuddles.
